Bright Grahame Murray Boosts its Tax Team

Bright Grahame Murray boosts its tax team with twosenior appointments

Bright Grahame Murray announced today the expansion of its tax team with the appointment of two highly experienced tax advisers, Ross Welland and Andrew Hawley. Ross joins Bright Grahame Murray as a Tax Partner having previously been a tax partner in mid tier firms. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, Ross also holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation. He specialises in tax saving strategies for UK businesses and their owners, as well as cross-border taxation issues.
Bright Grahame Murray’s corporate and private clients will benefit from his extensive experience, which includes UK property structures using offshore entities, restructuring within Europe, expatriate tax, transfer pricing, and inward and outward investment. Andrew joins Bright Grahame Murray as a Tax Director from a large international firm, where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor. He brings over thirteen years’ experience advising clients on corporate tax issues, from both an international and a UK perspective.
At Bright Grahame Murray, he will focus on helping UK head-quartered and UK in-bound corporate entities, as well as privately owned businesses, to structure their tax affairs as efficiently as possible, while supporting their corporate objectives. Andrew also brings extensive knowledge of the R&D tax
relief regime, which has yielded large tax credits for many clients in the past.
Mark Cole, Senior Partner at Bright Grahame Murray said:

“Demand for our tax advisory services is growing strongly and I am delighted to welcome Ross and Andrew to our team. With so much external focus on tax in recent years, our clients now have to spend more time negotiating constant changes in the tax environment. Their appointment could not have come at a better time for us, or our clients. “Ross and Andrew strengthen our corporate and personal taxation service, enabling us to provide timely, practical and most importantly, commercially viable solutions tailored to our clients’ individual needs. The move also represents a significant investment in the future of Bright Grahame Murray.”
