2012 is going to be a big year for London, with the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations it would be easy to overlook the forthcoming Mayoral elections.

Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London from 2000-2008, will be standing as the Labour candidate with the campaign message that he is standing for office to put London first.  He promises that he will use his experience of office to get the most from what will be a difficult economic and political time for London.

This is the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with one of your city’s Mayoral candidates at this breakfast event, kindly hosted  by Westfield London.

Ken states “I want to be Mayor for one overriding reason: if I am elected my focus will be to do everything I can to protect Londoners from the recession and the effects of the Government’s policies”
