The challenge invites both established businesses and start-ups in the UK, owned by ethnic minorities, to present their innovative products, ideas or technology at a pitch-event, to a panel of investors, accelerators, heads of procurement and industry experts. The pitches will take place live, in front of an audience and the panel, at MSDUK’s 2017 Business Show, held on September 21st 2017 at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham. Prizes, sponsored by EY, include two scholarship to attend renowned Ivy League Tuck Business School in the USA.
This competition is different from similar others because it focusses on entrepreneurs from ethnic minority backgrounds and, in addition, provides them access to investors, technical know-how and finally, our network of over 50 global firms will give them a unique opportunity to access the corporate supply chains who are looking for innovative solutions.
MSDUK is interested in applicants that have innovative ideas/ products/ solutions in any industries including healthcare, food, sustainability, fintech and IT. Applicants must be 18+ and a British citizen or be a permanent UK resident.
