After two years of piloting with many brilliant businesses, impact organisations, and education institutions, the new Skills Builder Employer Programme has landed.
The Employer Programme has been designed for businesses and not-for-profits of all sizes. The Skills Builder team will work with you to build the Skills Builder approach into your outreach activities, your recruitment practices, and into staff development. It can help address challenges around building a talent pipeline, creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, and improving retention through long-term investment in your staff.
Skills Builder is currently recruiting their next cohort of employers to start working with us in the Autumn. With limited spaces available, now is the time to get in touch to find out more or chat to one of our team.
What the Employer Programme is all about
The Employer Programme works with you to build the Skills Builder approach into your organisation, normally over the course of the year. Working closely with an expert Skills Builder Associate, the team help you to identify where the approach could have the greatest impact by understanding your most pressing organisational needs – whether in your outreach, recruitment or staff development.
They then share tools that can help to assess essential skills, to train your team on them, and to create any programmes or materials that can help you. The result is a targeted shift in your organisational capabilities, and a more skilled, engaged workforce.
Hear from employers who have already taken part
A seminar in partnership with Business in the Community and the Gatsby Foundation will profile employers including Capita, PwC, On-Purpose, AKW, Capgemini and more.
Over the course of the hour, you’ll be able to learn more about the Employer Programme, its impact, and the experiences of some of the trailblazing employers who’ve been involved so far.
