HOW CAN WE HELP WITH A CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK?
Kanso Facilities Management have worked on a number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cleaning cases since the outbreak in December 2019, supporting clients. their staff and guests, to allow business as usual as much as possible through these difficult and challenging times.
This virus, COVID-19 has spread rapidly across the world and both ourselves and our clients have recognised that every precaution should be taken to limit any further outbreaks, whilst also keeping our clients, co-workers, and guests as safe as possible.
PROTECT YOUR OFFICE, BUILDING & HOTEL
Research conducted by scientists since the outbreak of COVID-19, has shown that the virus can live on hard surfaces some time, putting people at risk who have to work or pass through these areas which could have been contaminated.
The most efficient and effective to deal with a COVID-19 case in your premises is to act fast. Speed is paramount when dealing with any viral outbreak and the Kanso teams are highly skilled and trained to know what to do and how to do it quickly and effectively. Kanso uses the latest electrostatic technology that delivers an environmentally friendly disinfectant that will eliminate Feline coronaviruses and COVID-19 (SARS-CoV2) viruses immediately on application, with a rapid drying time of less than 20 minutes causing minimum disruption to your business, premises, or hotel.
It is important to be proactive and Kanso use only the latest sanitisers and disinfectants that not only kill the viruses present but also continue to provide ongoing protection for 30 days after the clean has been conducted by our teams providing protection and peace of mind all round.
Finally, we contain any contamination on your premises through our Kanso cleaning teams being led by qualified and experienced team leaders and managers who follow our specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements. This ensures all contamination is dealt with and onward transmission is eradicated with all waste products removed from site.
HOW WE CLEAN
Only a full sanitisation clean of your premises is the effective way to keep your staff, clients and guests safe and reassured when there has been a suspected COVID-19 case in your premises or simply returning to work when the lock is lifted is to conduct a proper disinfection of the building.
It is critical to sanitise tables, desks, fixtures, doors and frames and all ‘touch points’ that are the hotspots in your building. Kanso places an importance on the need to sanitise these hotspots and include the sanitisation of office equipment and any appliances such as computer equipment, keyboards, phones and machinery. In the case of the wider premises we sanitise all common areas too, such as lifts, stairwells, kitchens, staff areas, meeting rooms, board rooms, corridors and lobbies and all shower facilities and toilets and washrooms.
In addition to manually cleaning each of these areas with our sanitisation products we also use, hot water extraction to sanitise carpets if required, and the latest steam cleaning equipment to clean high risk areas such as toilets, bathrooms, washrooms and kitchens. The temperature that the steam is applied, or the hot water extraction carpet machines will kill all viruses present.
Finally, our Kanso Sanitisation Operatives will conduct a fogging system to provide a protective layer on all surface and equipment that will kill any remaining virus present and provide a protective layer, that is naked to the eye, for up to 30 days after application.
Effective prevention control for the COVID-19 virus relies upon all of us to be thorough with our own hygiene practices. Ongoing cleaning with trained teams, using the best quality products is the only effective way of keeping further contamination away from your premises. In addition, staff, clients and guests need to ensure the correct hand washing techniques are followed using hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds is adopted, coupled with the application of hand sanitiser for further reassurance. Kanso can provide and source cost effective sanitisers for your staff and guests as an additional level of protection.
