New WLB member Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club is to host the Zeus Cup, a special day commemorating the life of former Ealing Trailfinders Academy player and Henley College student Haseen Hashim, who sadly took his own life two years ago.
The Zeus Cup will take place at Trailfinders Sports Club on Saturday 11th June. Green Code Holdings Ltd. have made a generous contribution to support the event, allowing all proceeds from the day to go towards supporting mental health.
The Zeus Cup is an invitational match played by professional players, semi-professional players and celebrities. Notable names include ex-England international Tom Varndell and Love Island star Chuggs. There will be a touch rugby competition for those that want to get involved, as well as food and drink stalls set up alongside live music to provide all guests with the best possible experience whilst watching the matches play out.
Green Code Holdings are a group practice made up of young but well experienced and enthusiastic Designers, Architects, and Engineers who are at the forefront of legislation, regulations, and wield in-depth knowledge of the construction industry. They have strong connections within the construction industry along with Building Control companies. They know how to get what clients want done, how clients want it to be done.
The event is also being run in partnership with mental health charities LooseHeadz and blOKes, there will be a number of mental health awareness speakers who will be giving talks during the day, as well as Haseen Hashim’s close friends.
The money raised will go towards training mental health first aiders within university rugby societies, as well as aid in delivering comprehensive mental health support packages with the partners involved in the day.
